HB: fin has correct airfoil shape, great tail rotor shape and detail. HS: also has airfoil shape. Italeri: no airfoil shape, good tail rotor, counter-measure launchers, fin not angled back enough. One thing that no manufacturer got right is the Hind’s lean (2°30’) to the right when on the ground.

I think this one is a copy of the Revell 1/700. Newer Hobby Boss kits are quite good and on part with Trumpeter's newer stuff (same design team and manufacturing facility), such as their 1/350 Danton, Seydlitz, and Dunkerque. There sadly isn't a really good Arizona in 1/700 (or 1/350 for that matter).

Description. The Mikasa is a pre-dreadnought battleship built for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) in the late 1890s and was the only ship of her class. Mikasa, named after Mount Mikasa, was laid down by Vickers at their Barrow-in-Furness shipyard on 24 January 1899, and launched on 8 November 1900 and completed on 1 March 1902.

Tamiya is the worst! fit of parts: clearly Tamiya no 1, superb engineering, fun to build, but you have to compromise. surface details: clearly Tam as no 1. HB with lots of wrong and/or overdone recessed details. Many have to be deleted or filled, re-engraving the R/M kit is not so much more effort. details: HOBBY BOSS JAPANESE BATTLESHIP MIKASA 1902 1/200 Scale. $247.99 $124.00 Sale. In Stock. Add To Cart. the only fault I can find with hobby boss , is the colour chart or lack of , one single piece of paper , then you work it out . bill - I am australian , metric is a way of life for me . I am old enough to be able to convert , but it's a drag to do so . this model is about 700mm long , and going together nicely , not too many bad fit's .
Help gofundme Jun 12, 2018 #2. You might want to do a bit of poking around the net for reviews. There are apparently no threads on the topic at HyperScale if the Search is to be believed. One thing I discovered after googling Hobby Boss 1/48 P-61 is that only the P-61B boxing includes the dorsal turret. The P-61C box art shows it, but it's not in the box. It's a good kit too. The Hobby Boss kit has a more detailed engine (complete with exhaust) and landing gear. I haven't had many problems with the fit of the parts. The worst one was probably my fault and is located under the wing tips. There is a joint there where the upper and lower wing halves are joined. Another plus for the Hobby Boss kit

On the first day of the “Dieppe Raid”, Spitfire BM579 was shot down and crashed near the coast. It´s pilot, fortunately, survived and managed to get back to Britain to fight another day. It was, by the way, famous Norwegian pilot Arne Berg who had flown B;579 coded “FN-B” on its last flight. The Hobby Boss kit is a true pleasure to build.
