I just did, I had to go through a Steam folder to delete it, you have to go to you C drive, and then look for a hidden folder called "ProgramData", then you go to Steam>45740>remote, and then you'll find the save file called "DR2SAVE.DRS2".

Is it possible to transfer the save data from DR2 Case Zero to the DR2 xbox one version? I haven't found much information on the matter, and it'd be nice to be able to transfer the goods so I'm not starting from flat level 1 again. I have the same question and have not found an answer. So I guess the final answer is "no".
The only workaround is to always manually backup the save file just in case you do encounter it in which case you can restore the last save. what they said. it only takes a second to copy the save files and back them up, so just make it a habit every time you close the game down. #2.
