80% PlayStation 3. 9h 53m Played. Definitely my favorite of the first three Jak & Daxter games. After finishing the HD Collection, this one sticks out (in my opinion) as being the best of the three. The game isn't crazy difficult, has interesting game mechanics, and adds cool mods to your guns from the previous game.
When people reflect on the Jak and Daxter series, they often only talk about Naughty Dog's PS2 Trilogy and sometimes Jak X. Maybe even giving mention to Jak
Daxter was made by a third party, but was accepted because it kept the spirit alive. The lost Frontier kept the same game play (mostly), but changed everything else. It seems like they said "jak and daxter is popular, let's take that and apply it to this pirate themed game so it boosts sales!". They got rid of the established cast of characters
